Fishing in Finland with VOBLER TEAM. The Kuopio region by Lake Kallavesi is the largest lake in Finland's Northern Savo province. The lake with a water surface of 478 square kilometers is on the list of the largest lakes in Finland. The lake is quite narrow and elongated from northwest to southeast, the shoreline is extremely receding. Together with five other lakes, Kallavesi forms a single Iso-Kalla system. The average depth of Kallavesi is 9.7 m, the greatest depth is 75 m. Water transparency varies from fifteen to four meters. Among fish, pike, zander and perch are found, less common are bream, bream, roach, whitefish, roach, white bream and trout.
